FRANCE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION – Sunday 24th April 2022
As Andrew Eborn predicted, Emmanuel Macron will again face Marine Le Pen in the second round of the French Presidential election on 24th April 2022.
Andrew Eborn predicts that for the first time since Jacques Chirac in 2002 the incumbent will win, Macron will be re-elected for a second term.
Voter turnout is likely to be lower than 2017 reflecting the electorate’s dissatisfaction with the choice. Le Pen’s appeal will be enhanced as she will look more moderate next to Eric Zemmour. Le Pen will also benefit from policies which appeal to younger voters.
